Press Release: National Accident Helpline makes a difference this Christmas

National Accident Helpline has embraced the season of goodwill by announcing that instead of spending money on cards, they will be donating funds to their chosen charity, the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT).
BIRT is an organisation working to help people regain the skills lost as a result of brain injury, whether caused by road accident, assault, stroke or illness. They offer a range of services designed to meet the needs of people at different stages of rehabilitation.
Sam Porteous, chief executive of National Accident Helpline, said: “Christmas is a time for giving and we’re delighted to be able to give something back to the community.
"Through our ongoing work at National Accident Helpline, we’re committed in helping create a better tomorrow for patients and their families across the country, who are in need of the care and support that BIRT provides.”
So far this year, employees at National Accident Helpline have raised more than £5,000 for BIRT through a number of fundraising activities.

"Your donations help us, not only continue to do the great work that we do and improve the lives of those living with Brain Injuries, but also helps support our literature, our information leaflets which help families and service users understand more about brain injury and how to cope.
