Press Release: Directors saddle up for children’s charity

Three directors of National Accident Helpline are saddling up to raise at least £1,000 for a children’s cancer charity.

‘Team SAS’ will cycle the 53 miles from Birmingham to Nottingham on 10th June to raise money for KidsCan, the Children’s Cancer Research Centre, which is working to cure the 1 in 500 children diagnosed with cancer in the UK each year.

‘Team SAS’ consists of: Sam Porteous, chief executive Adam Rhodes, commercial director Steve Baker, finance director

Steve Baker, finance director, said; “Cancer touches many people’s lives. Supporting children who suffer from it will help to improve their treatment and recovery.

“One of our team members took part in the recent London Marathon for charity, so we hope some of his success will rub off. We will probably make it from Birmingham to Nottingham quicker than the commuters who get stuck on the M42.”
