When Sue was told by an orthopaedic surgeon that she needed an operation following her fall, her first thought was that her son’s wedding was coming up the following weekend.
Following the injury and her operation, Sue had to attend the wedding in a wheelchair, unable to stand up to toast the newlyweds or dance at the evening reception.
In the weeks that followed, she relied on her daughter to help with everyday jobs as she struggled through her recovery.
When I came home from the hospital it was very difficult because my husband Terry was waiting for a hip replacement and was on crutches. My daughter Sam had to do the day-to-day running of the house, as well as her own job.
Sue contacted us because she felt that what had happened to her was wrong, and we were able to help her make it right.
