Why choose National Accident Helpline?
The first step in claiming your compensation is to speak to one of our friendly Legal Services Advisors, who will listen to the details of your claim and help you understand if you’re entitled to compensation. If so, they will put you in touch with one of our solicitors in the South East – one that specialises in your ‘type’ of claim, saving you time and hassle of choosing a solicitor.
The types of injury claim made in South East England
Road accident claims (compensation claims made by those injured on roads) accounted for around 26% of all claims made in the South East between 2006 and 2012, so if you’ve been injured on the roads and you think you may be entitled to compensation, you’re not alone.
Claims made by those injured at work is the next biggest claim type, including those made for injuries sustained in a slip or trip at work (around 30% of all work accident claims). Interestingly, more work accident claims are made in the South East in January than any other month.
Worryingly, there has also been a big increase in the number of people contacting us after being injured as a result of medical negligence (inappropriate or substandard medical care) in the South East. For more information on the types of medical negligence, read our Medical Negligence Claims page.
