Andy's story
I couldn't go to work for the first 6-12 weeks because I couldn't drive.
Andrew had an accident in a supermarket and badly injured his knee. His injury meant he couldn't move without pain and needed surgery to repair the ligaments in his knee and stop him living in agony - this meant 12 weeks off work to recover after his operation.
The time off work aside, Andrew's injury also affected his time with his children, as he was unable to run around with his kids or enjoy quality time together. Understandably, this upset Andrew.
I wasn't able to run around with my kids and I couldn't do all the weekend activities we'd usually do.
