If you’ve suffered an injury, we can take care of your rehabilitation
Getting expert recovery advice, physiotherapy and any other necessary ongoing treatment following your accident is essential to helping you make the best recovery possible.
Your injury may have led to you having to take time off work, having trouble getting around or struggling to look after your family. We know that you want to get back on your feet as quickly as possible.
That’s why we’ll arrange treatment for your injury. We understand how frustrating being injured can be; that’s why our expert physiotherapists are here to help.
How does the rehabilitation service work?
Our rehabilitation service is an option you can take as part of your claim with us.
When you contact us about your injury, we will assess whether we can help you with your claim. If we can, we’ll put you in contact with one of our specialist solicitor firms.
Once you and your solicitor agree to start your personal injury claim, they’ll assess your need for physiotherapy and support.
There are two ways your physiotherapy can begin, depending on the time of your injury and the nature of your injury.
- You’ll be contacted by a rehabilitation provider, who has been approached by your solicitor. They’ll go through an assessment over the phone with you, asking you about your injury and accident. They’ll advise if they can help you, and arrange an appointment.
- As part of your claim, you’re invited to a free medical assessment. During your medical assessment, your doctor may feel you need physiotherapy to help you fully recover. If this is the case then your doctor will arrange an appointment for you to see one of our expert physiotherapists.
Your appointment will be arranged at a location and time convenient for you, this is likely to be a location close to your workplace or home. An appointment with one of our physiotherapists typically last between 20 and 30 minutes.
Your physiotherapist will be looking to assess your injuries and how they can best help you to recover.
They’ll then create a plan or routine that is tailored to your needs. This may be a series of exercises for you to do at home, a massage to ease the pain, or a combination of the two.
